2027 CFMOTO CFORCE C-Series explained: C4 vs C5 vs C6

For 2027, CFMOTO renamed its mid-size ATV line: the familiar numeric CFORCE names give way to the new C-Series. The letter is the family, the number is the size class — C4 (408cc) is the entry machine, C5 (498cc) the value workhorse, and C6 (647cc, in base, Pro and two-up Pro Touring trims) the new mid-size flagship. Here’s the whole ladder, decoded.

Which C-Series is right for you?

The letter tells you the family; the number tells you how much machine you’re getting.

  • ✓
CFORCE C4 — the honest entry point. 33 hp from a 408cc single, a full 1,350-lb tow rating and the same 5.9″ display as the C5 — the least expensive way into a full-size-capable ATV.
  • ✓
CFORCE C5 — the value workhorse. 39 hp, the same 1,350-lb towing, and a 2,500-lb winch standard — equipment that’s an add-on on most competitors at this price.
  • ✓
CFORCE C6 / C6 Pro — the new mid-size benchmark. The 647cc engine brings 45 hp (C6) or 54 hp (Pro), 1,830-lb towing, Bosch electronic throttle with E-Shift, and up to 12.6″ of clearance. The Pro Touring adds true two-up seating for a passenger.

Straight talk. The C-Series is brand new for 2027 — long-term owner history doesn’t exist yet for these exact models, and the C4 skips the winch to hit its price. If you want a machine with a decade of owner reviews behind the exact model name, the established competitors have that today; the C-Series answers with newer equipment for the money and CFMOTO’s published specs above.

Frequently asked questions

What happened to the CFORCE 400, 500 and 600 names?

For 2027, CFMOTO moved its mid-size ATVs to the new C-Series naming: the C4 (408cc) sits where the 400-class lived, the C5 (498cc) carries the 500 class, and the C6 family (647cc) takes over the 600 class with more power and towing than the class had before. Larger CFORCE models (like the 1000) keep their numeric names for 2026.

What is the difference between the CFORCE C6 and C6 Pro?

Both use the 647cc single, but the C6 Pro raises output from 45 to 54 hp, adds a standard 3,500-lb winch, selectable drive modes and 12.6″ of ground clearance (vs 11.8″). The C6 Pro Touring is the same machine with factory two-up seating for a passenger.
